On April 6 at the Tajik Physical Training Institute named after Saidmumin Rakhimov, the opening ceremony of the 2018 Tajik sports games was held.
At the opening of this event, Ahtam Abdullozoda, the Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, congratulated all athletes, coaches, judges and friends of the country with the opening of the Sports Games of Tajikistan 2018:
"The sports games of Tajikistan will be held once every four years. On the basis of the unified sporting and recreational activities, in 2010, the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sportsdecided to hold sports games at 11 types of sport in our country within the sports policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. In the framework of the speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is developing sport throughout the country, creating new sports schools, and the number of athletes is growing in these sports. In 2017 only more than 70 sports grounds were built in Dushanbe, and planned to spend more than 92 sports grounds in the country in June this year.”
After speaking, Ahtam Abdullozoda officially announced the opening of Tajikistan's Sports Games -2018.
Finally, Tajik sportsmen exhibited various types of sports, which were introduced into the 2018 Tajik sports Program.It should be noted that sports games of Tajikistan are one of the most influential sporting events in the country, primarily for the promotion to introduce the independent Tajikistan at the Asian Games and the Olympics.
